Meet The Greens

God has burdened our hearts for the unreached peoples and international students of New York City and we're excited to have the opportunity to serve Him here. We believe God brought us together as a couple, each with unique and complimentary gifts, to share His good news with those who have never heard. Thank you for supporting us as we step out in faith, trusting that God will lead us as we follow Him.

Our vision, inspired by Revelation 7:9, is to see reproducing communities of believers from every people group on earth who love Jesus, obey His commands, and are committed to sharing His gospel and making disciples.

Our mission, inspired by 2 Timothy 2:2, is to mobilize followers of Jesus to lead Bible studies with and make disciples of the least reached people groups in New York City, equipping them to return to their homelands and likewise make disciples of their peoples.

"Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!" Psalm 96:3

Blessed to be a Blessing

I was raised in Kentucky by two wonderful Christian parents and came to faith in Jesus at an early age. As a teen and young adult, my relationship with God grew and strengthened. I'm so thankful He's always been faithful to me, even using my shortcomings and failures to teach me more about His grace. In 2004, I moved to China for two years to minister to college students and was blessed to see God working in their lives. My wife Courtney was one of these transformed students, and I've been so blessed by God's working in our lives. Even though I feel inadequate to serve Him, God has burdened my heart to share the gospel with the unreached and least reached peoples, and I'm excited to be following His call to full-time ministry.

A God who Transforms

Born in China, I never realized that Jesus was a real person who existed until my freshman year of college, when a group of foreign missionaries performed the Christmas story on campus. A few years later, I became friends with American missionaries who took me to church and gave me my first Bible. God changed my hardened heart, and I began to learn about the Bible and ask the missionaries many spiritual questions. In October 2006, I put my faith in Jesus, and a year later I married one of the missionaries! A couple years ago, I would never have imagined that God would call me to minister with internationals, but He continues to transform and lead me! Despite my fears, God is calling us to serve Him and I'm trusting Him to provide.
